Biography
Bringing her diverse legal skill set from Puerto Rico to the Monzón, Guerra & Chipman team, Olga M. Benítez Quiñones helps clients overcome obstacles with exceptional strategy, expertise and attention to detail.
While she currently focuses on immigration, Benítez Quiñones has over 17 years of experience in several other areas of law, having successfully represented clients in family, estate, probate, corporate, contract, international, business, civil and labor cases.
With a meticulous, yet compassionate approach, Benítez Quiñones proactively analyzes all possible avenues for each case to minimize hurdles later on. This thorough understanding of her clients’ motivations and expectations from the start further nurtures the attorney-client relationship.
Prior to joining the firm, Benitez ran her own practice in San Juan, Puerto Rico — Lcda. Olga M. Benitez Quiñones. She focused on family, probate, labor, and notarial services, handling case administration, consultations, client management, and accounting.
Before moving to Nebraska in 2023, Benitez held various managing and legal roles throughout her career, including Managing Partner, Comptroller, Staff Attorney, and Labor Attorney. As a Labor Attorney, she served on the Puerto Rico Labor Board, where she investigated and litigated union violation cases and handled arbitration referrals.
Benitez earned a J.D. with honors from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, following an M.B.A. in international business and B.A. in accounting.
